I love coming to this Mexican restaurant but I was very disappointed today and now it's pushed me to try other Mexican Restaurants. My disappointment was to the portion size. I alway ordered a Burrito Grande, but what I received was nowhere near what I would consider a grande portion. It was noticeably smaller, shorter, and thinner than the burritos shown in other customer photos of the same item. I understand that portions can vary, but this felt more like a “Burrito Mini Grande” than a Burrito Grande. I paid for the larger portion and expected to receive what is advertised. I brought this up because I don't think the portion I received was reasonable for the price. The food itself was fine, but the portion size was disappointing and did not match my expectations for a Burrito Grande. I hope the restaurant addresses the consistency of their portions. Since I order the same thing everytime I come to this restaurant, I would know if the size is different. I asked the server if the cook in the kitchen had changed and he said its the same cook and that the burrito is always been this size so he was not willing to help. My wife and I will probably not be eating here for a while...

Open, gorgeous facility with good service. Horchata is soooo good with wonderful cinnamon spice. Margaritas were made with mix for sure. The beans had a musty taste and my shredded chicken salad was not well seasoned and very dry. My husband got steak and chicken fajitas and they were good, but not memorable.

Just open for the day when I arrived, so very quiet. World cup on TV but not so loud as to overwhelm all else. Lunch portion was excellent and very filling. Attentive service and helpful. Ask for the extra-spicy salsa with your chips. 🌶️

This place is really good. Happy hour margaritas are good. The volcano was great. The staff is very friendly and ambience is great

This was a fanatic Mexican restaurant! Best one I’ve been to in Chambana in the 36 years I’ve lived here. The restaurant has a lovely and unique ambiance. The food was prepared and hot. Mine was on fire! I had the Fajita de Pina, a half pineapple filled with goodness, fajita chicken, fajita, steak, chorizo, cheese, and baked in a half a pineapple shell. On the menu it has shrimp instead of chorizo, but I am allergic to shell fish. It was out of this world!! My husband had the Chilaquiles, nacho tortilla chips with steak, cheese and two fried eggs. He loved it! And for dessert a sopapilla with ice cream. Had the perfect amount of whipped cream and sprinkles and the sopapillas were perfect and cinnamony. The portions were huge! I think mine will make four meals! A must try in Champaign (in the old Alexander’s Steak House).
